Ambassadorial and World Peace Scholarships
Rotary Clubs of District 5190:
Now is the time to start looking for candidates for the
2009-10 Ambassadorial and World Peace Scholarships. Below is
a fact sheet about the programs.
District 5190 will be awarding 3 Ambassadorial Scholarships
for school year 2009-10. Each club in District 5190 has the
opportunity to submit one applicant.
District 5190 has the opportunity to submit one Peace
Fellow Candidate to The Rotary Foundation's world-wide
competitive selection process and each Club may submit on
applicant to the District selection committee. There is no
limit to the number of Peace & Conflict Studies
candidates Districts may submit to The Rotary Foundation's
world-wide competitive selection process, so Clubs may
submit to the District selection committee as many qualified
candidates as they have for each of the two sessions,
January-April 2009 or July-September 2009.
Applications for World Peace Fellowships 2009-2011 are due
to the selection committee by June 1, 2008. No exceptions.
Applications for Peace & Conflict Studies January-April
2009 are due to the selection committee by June 1, 2008. No
exceptions.
Applications for Ambassadorial Scholarship are due to the
selection committee by August 1, 2008. No exceptions.
Applications for Peace & Conflict Studies
July-September 2009 are due to the selection committee by
November 1, 2008. No exceptions.
