 Started
in 2006 as a joint effort between two Rotary Districts (one in
the United States and one in Mexico), Rotarians at Work Day
continues to grow. Each year, Clubs around the world identify a
hands-on project that all members can participate in to help
their local community. The day is a great way to revitalize your
Club, bring in new members and generate publicity for Rotary.
Rotarians at Work Day happens the last Saturday in April each
year. Rotarians at Work Day this year is April 24, 2010. Is your
Club ready to join? To submit a project is very easy. All you
need to do is go to the Rotarians at Work Web site at
www.rotariansatwork.org
and click on "submit a project" and follow the easy
instructions. Our goal this year is to have every club in
District 5190 participate in this great community service
project.
We are working on a new design for the Rotarians at Work
t-shirts and banners.
If you have any questions please contact District 5190
Community Service Chair, Ralph Taylor (You will need to login as
a Guest, Club, or District officer to see the contact
information above).
