Rotary:
A Tradition of Humanity
Paul Kiser, our District Public Relation Chair writes; "The
past few months of financial turmoil have impacted almost
every part of the world, and as members of the world
community Rotarians are no different. It is rare to have a
discussion about membership recruitment and retention
without the subject of economic hard times creeping into the
conversation." Read more of Paul's inspiring
article here.

Information
Resources for new Club Presidents and Secretaries
Are you aware that Club and District Support (CDS) staff
serve as your primary contact at Rotary? Staff can answer
any question about Rotary as well as provide advice on club
elections, constitutional matters, club traditions and
customs, club operations, and RI Board policy. The PDF
Document here
contains some critical web resources to assist in
leading and supporting your club in the year ahead.

Do
you know a non-Rotarian professional interested in pursuing
a Masters Degree in peace building, conflict
resolution, and mediation?
If you do, recommend him or her for a Rotary World Peace
Fellowship! Each year, Rotary selects up to 60 Fellows to
study peace and conflict resolution at one of the seven
prestigious universities around the world. Applications for
the 2010-2011 program are being processed by Rotary clubs
now. Application process and eligibility information can be
found at the Rotary International web site here.
